Hawaii, the birthplace of Surfing, is home to some of the best surf in the world. Though this may be a subjective comment it is based on one simple thing, the truth or at least my version of the truth. Why is it considered the best surf destination in the world?

Many things can contribute to the idea of what is a great surf destination. Though I have traveled to many a wonderful surf destination I still consider Hawaii the best. One reason, obviously its home. Another reason is the consistent year round availability of surf.

Concerning aquarium fish harvesting and regulations.

This year a bill came through in which addressing the concern of over fishing and capturing of aquarium fish off our coastal waters and reefs. Both parties arguing for and against the bill had great points about how to better protect from over exploitation of the budding aquarium fishing industry.
